Impact of biodynamic preparations on vine and berry physiology, wine quality and vineyard biodiversity

This project studies whether a biodynamic management system with the application of its specific preparations has advantages in terms of sustainability, disease resistance, vineyard biodiversity, soil and wine-quality over biology farmed vineyards.

In the project we study the physiological response of the vine (disease resistance, photosynthesis, water use efficiency, primary and secondary metabolites, transcriptomic changes), the wine quality and the effect of its environment (soil, biodiversity) to treatments of a combination of biodynamic preparations 500 and 501.
