The international relations of Changins have a long tradition in its educational as well as its research program. Historically, 30% of all Bachelor students have their origin in the EU and overseas. A similarly strong international participation is anticipated in the newly created Master program. It creates a spirit of oppenness and creativity which prepares the students ideally for the challenges in their careers.

Changins’ international relations take different forms:

  • The Summer University which is a great opportunity for students from the different partner institutions to share their knowledge, experiments and cultural background during a 4-week program.

  • Different study trips abroad, during the Bachelor curriculum, are organized during the 6th semester, with courses, field trips and visits of wineries and vineyards, especially with the:

- Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Piacenza, Italy

- Université de Bourgogne, Dijon, France

- Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia do Rio Grande do Sul, Brasil


  • There are mobility programms for Bachelor students to study two semesters or to achieve their Bachelor. Partnership agreements have been signed with:

- Charles Sturt University, Wagga Wagga, Australia

- WeinCampus Neustadt, Neustadt, Germany

  • Research and Development activities are extended internationally with many different partners. Changins is a Member of the OENOVITI consortium, an international network of educational and research institutions which possess high level of expertise in Viticulture and Oenology.
